One thing I absolutely want to try out someday (and possibly own) is a こたつ。 Kotatsu are basically tables with heating elements underneath them. The table is then covered with a quilt so that the heat stays under the table and when you sit at the table, your legs and feet can stay cozy and warm in the winter!
